For the past two years we have held the John Wade Memorial Bike Meet in Plymouth. This year, due to requests from bikers, we are currently in the process of arranging our first 3 day bike rally at the Crooked Inn, Saltash. There will be camping and toilets, live music, a firework display, stalls/displays, and other activities. The entry fee is £5.00 per bike. There is a nominal charge of £5.00 for each tent. No caravans or motorhomes. Please note that all food and alcohol is to be purchased on site. There is a £1.00 deposit for a plastic beer glass. Breakfast will be from 0930 to 1030 hours, ie. bacon sandwich and coffee/tea. There will be a barbeque Friday and Saturday night, or the normal Crooked Inn menu is available.
Our aim is to get bikers from all different groups together, to all have a great weekend and raise lots of money for our nominated charity, DebRA, which helps sufferers with the terrible skin blistering condition known as Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB for short. There are varying forms of EB and, in some cases, the condition can be fatal. All monies raised at this event will go to our nominated charity.

Our 2008 target was to raise £5K for DebRA, we actually raised a total of £3,709.38 (including gift aid), we are still setting our target for 2009 at £5K and hope to break the £5K target.
We already have a number of local bands who will be performing at this event, namely, Raw Urge, Kitty and The Lost Boys, Sods Opera, Go Green Monkey, MaidaValePain,Ishmael, Insidejob, Seeyellow and making a come-back especially for this event will be The Diggurz, formed by members of the band Selwyn Froglet who appeared at our 2008 Bike Meet.
